Attaching a Dinghy to your Canal Boat

A canal boat can offer really nice, smooth, enjoyable rides down the river, but they’re not the cheapest or easiest boats to move in a hurry, which is why man people attach dinghies to the rear.

This means that if they every individual wants to nip of to the shops or into a town, they don’t have to load up their large canal boat with fuel, while a dinghy can be powered by an outboard engine. The only problem is that you must make sure the dinghy is 100 percent secure, while your outboard engine should always be brought in and hidden somewhere safe when you’re not using your canal boat, otherwise you could fall victim to theft.

A dinghy will often need blowing up from time to time so make sure you have electrically powered pump at your disposal if you ever need to rush down the river in a hurry.
