Be Considerate when you’re mooring

Mooring a boat shouldn’t be done thoughtlessly, and you have to consider the people around you when you’re mooring. Public footpaths can often run down the side of the river, and you have to make sure you do not block and access with your ropes or equipment when you are moored up.
You should always give priority to boaters using electronic charging points, and it can show you’re rather careless if you block electronic charging points when you’re not using them.
You should also think about noises, and it’s inconsiderate to run your engine when you’re moored, especially if people are trying to relax. There are many different areas to moor, but you should weight up your decision carefully, taking into account the people that are around you.
