Ever heard of the saying ‘Better Safe than Sorry’? Well, this is very true with boat safety. You should never go out on a boat without ensuring that you have a well-stocked boat safety kit. You never know when you could encounter an emergency or unexpected situation. There are certain items that are essential to include in your kit.

1. Flashlight (waterproof)- plus plenty of extra batteries
2. Duct Tape- great for quick fixes
3. Bucket- just in case
4. First Aid Kit- very important for any accidents
5. Whistle (waterproof)- excellent distress signal
6. Ropes- critical
7. Mirror- distress signal
8. Garbage bags- can be used as ponchos if necessary
9. Fire Extinguisher- fires can happen onboard
10. Life Jackets- enough and the right sizes for everyone onboard
